Kay Doughtie is a certified Dental Assistant with 38 years of experience. She has been with our practice for 23 years. She is from Greenville and graduated from JH Rose high school in 1977. She is married and a mom to four rescue dachshunds. She and her husband enjoy traveling in their RV with their four dogs.

Adam C. Harrell, DDS
Dr. Adam Harrell is a native of Pitt County, where he attended public schools in the Winterville area, and was a member of the first graduating class of South Central High School. He continued his education at East Carolina University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He obtained his dental degree from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and was thrilled to be able to return home and serve his community. Dr. Harrell enjoys continuing education and expanding his knowledge of dentistry. He has trained at the esteemed L.D. Pankey Institute and is currently working through their curriculum. His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society- Committee for the New Dentist-Member, East Central Dental Society-Executive Committee-Member, Pitt County Board of Health-Board Member, Eastern AHEC Dental Advisory Board-Board Member and the PRIMA Study Club. Dr. Harrell and his wife, Hillary, have a young son, Mac and an English Bull Dog, Harvey. They enjoy spending time watching the Pirates play, going to the beach, and enjoying the outdoors as a family.
Debbie Dixon - Practice Administrator
Debbie has been with the practice for 35 years and enjoys working with the dentists and staff to help create a warm welcome to all their patients. Her personal vision in the practice includes helping patients have a wonderful experience while they are associated with the office whether on the phone or seeking treatment. Her goal is that every patient feels they are receiving quality and professional care by our dentists and staff. Deana Matthews - Assistant Practice Administrator
Deana joined our team in June 2016 and has been working in the dental field since 1997. She loves working with talented, compassionate professionals. She takes great pride in helping keep the day to day office operations running smoothly. She also has an open door for her fellow team members. Deana is joyfully married to a husband of 25 years and has two children. She loves fishing, history, geography and traveling.
Terri Campbell - Insurance & Financial Coordinator
Terri, our insurance and financial coordinator, is a valuable part of our team who has been with our office since 1990. She is very knowledgeable and skilled while assisting our patients with insurance and billing concerns. Married to the love of her life, she and her husband enjoy boating at the river, going to the beach and watching their daughters play sports.
Laura Tyson - Front Desk Administrator
Laura began her career in dentistry in 2011 as a chair-side assistant with a specialty practice. Over the years, she transitioned to the business side of dentistry. She enjoys serving all patients, and has a particular adoration for children, as well as the senior patients. In her spare time with her husband, son, and dog Bailey, she enjoys taking trips to the crystal coast.
Ashleigh Capps - Appointment Coordinator
Ashleigh, our appointment coordinator, brings over 5 years of office and clerical experience to our practice. She takes pride in providing high quality customer service to all our patients. Happily married and mother of two boys, she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, reading, and traveling.
Pat Britt - Registered Dental Hygienst
Pat is a experienced registered dental hygienst bringing over 40 years of experience to our practice. Her educational credentials include an AAS of Dental Hygiene from Wayne Community College, and a BS in School and Community Health from ECU. Not only does Pat enjoy making your smile sparkle, she enjoys cultivating friendships, making all of the patients seem like friends and family. A native of Wilson North Carolina, Pat absolutely enjoys the beach and visits as often as possible. Pat has two daughters.
Sharon Lee - Registered Dental Hygienst
Sharon started dentistry as a dental assistant after graduation from high school in 1983. In 1990 she graduated from Wayne Community College with an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene and has been employed at our office since 1993. She has a passion for helping people and building relationships with patients.When not at the office, Sharon loves working out, reading, paddle boarding, being at beach/river, volunteering at church and spending time with her husband and three children. She and her husband, Bill, also enjoy going on Medical/Dental misson trips each year.
Jeanne White - Registered Dental Hygienst
Jeanne began her career in the dental field in 2000 as a dental assistant. She received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Wayne Community College in 2003. She has a passion for taking care of her patients’ dental needs and enjoys building relationships with them as well. Jeanne lives in Winterville with her husband and two children. When she is not working, she enjoys being at the beach and spending time with her friends and family.
Brittany Woolard - Certified Dental Assistant
Brittany, a native of Eastern NC, joins our practice as a Dental Assistant. Brittany’s bubbly personality and excellent bed side manner makes our patient’s dental experience pleasurable. Her dedication and strong work ethic make Brittany a valuable asset to our team. In her free time Brittany loves spending time with her family, lazy days on the river, and decorating her new home.
